Ana Carolina Santos
Ana Carolina Santos is Executive Director for Value Access & Policy at Amgen Europe, overseeing the regional payer strategy for all therapy areas (Bone, Cardiovascular, Nephrology, Oncology and Biosimilars). Prior to joining Amgen, she was Senior Director, Global Pricing at Pfizer, after taking on roles of increasing responsibility in Outcomes Research, Market Access, Access Innovation and Capabilities and Pricing Analytics.
Ana Carolina’s 15 year experience spans across both Strategy and Operations in Country, Regional and Global roles, supporting all geographies and a variety of therapeutic areas across all life-cycle stages, from first in human to launch and loss of exclusivity. Policy and Government Affairs has remained an area of keen interest throughout her career and Ana Carolina has led numerous workstreams on topics of relevance, including stakeholder mapping and engagement, orphan diseases, combination therapies in Oncology and market shaping.
Ana Carolina received her PharmD from the University of Lisbon.
