Ann-Lise Guisset

Technical Officer, World Health Organization (WHO)


Ann-Lise Guisset has been working at WHO in various capacities in regional office (EURO), country office (Tunisia) and headquarters for more than 10 years. She is currently at the Service Delivery and Safety Department at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva. In this position, she supports implementation of the Integrated and People Centered Health Services (IPCHS) framework and leads the work on hospitals. She advocates for a renewed vision of hospitals to contribute to Universal Health Coverage and developing primary health care. Previously, she worked at the Ministry of Health in Belgium. Dr Guisset was also a researcher at Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) where she completed her PhD in Public Health. She realized her post-doctoral studies at Université de Montreal (Canada). She fluently speaks French and English and has good knowledge of Spanish.
