Davor Štimac
Prof Davor Štimac, MD PhD graduated at School of Medicine, University of Rijeka, Croatia. He is the Chief Executive Officer at University Hospital Rijeka, Head of Internal Clinic at University Hospital Rijeka, full professor at School of Medicine, University of Rijeka and vice president of Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences. He is a former President of Croatian Society of Gastroenterology, actual President of Croatian Pancreatic Club, President of Croatian Society for Obesity and Vice president of Croatian Society for Quality in Health Care.
He is member of European Board of Gastroenterology, President elect of EAGEN (European Society of Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Nutrition), member of WGO Guidelines Committee and member of WGO Train the Trainers Committee, member of Bockus Society and Editor of Cochrane Hepatobiliary Group. His main scientific interests are focused on new endoscopic techniques, pancreatic and liver diseases. He published more than 400 articles and abstracts in peer reviewed journals.
