Heinz Kölking
After training as a registered nurse at the University Hospital in Münster and working as a nurse in various hospitals, Heinz Kölking studied Economics. From 1984 to 1989 he worked in corporate and organizational consultancy for hospitals at the MEDIPLAN Hamburg. From 1989 to 1994, he eas th hospital director of Itzehoe Hospitals. From 1994 to 2014, Heinz Kölking held various positions in the management of Diakonie, as a member of the executive board of Diakonissen Mutterhaus company Rotenburg / Wümme and managing director of Diakoniekrankenhaus, as well as in the management of proDiako gGmbH Holding in Hannover. From 2014 to 2016 Heinz Kölking was Managing Director of Residenz-Kliniken GmbH and Residenz Rehakliniken GmbH in Bremen. Kölking is currently management consultant at the Artemed Klinik Lilienthal.
Heinz Kölking was president of the German Association of Hospital Managers (VKD) for 13 years. Since 1998 he is member of the board of the European Association of Hospital Managers (EAHM), being President of EAHM from 2010 to 2014.
