Inneke Van de Vijver
Inneke holds a Master degree of Science in Sustainable Development and Human ecology and a PhD in Sciences, earned at the department of Biology in the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
Other educational records include the post academic course Health Economics, conducted at the EHSAL Management School in Brussels, Belgium. After she started working as a consultant for the pharmaceutical industry in 2006 as Scientific Advisor, she quickly developed a passion for Market Access (pricing & reimbursement). She wrote and gave strategic advice in numerous reimbursement applications in almost all therapeutic areas for several innovative agents and orphan drugs. In 2014 she became Market Access manager at the company Biogen, specialised in MS products.
Since the summer of 2015 Inneke started working as Pharmaceutical Analyst at the National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (NIHDI-INAMI-RIZIV) , she is currently the Acting President of the Taskforce ‘Managed Entry Agreements’ at the NIHDI. In this role, she is also highly involved in the negotiation procedures within the Beneluxa Initiative. She chairs the negotiations meetings and is fulltime occupied with this responsibility.
