The Portuguese NHS Contact Center, SNS24, was created in July 2017 with the ambition to become the NHS’ omni-channel front office for its citizens. Since then it has steadily increased its set of services. Today it helps patients and relatives navigate the system clinically and in administrative issues, like scheduling an appointment in primary care - 24/24. With over 100 000 monthly calls taken by trained nurses it is the country’s largest telehealth service.
