Anna Ceccarelli

Anna Ceccarelli was graduated in Economics and management of health care systems at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Rome and attained a Ph.D. in Economics and management of health care services at the same University. From 2006 to 2011 she worked as a health economist researcher at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuuore of Rome and, in particular, had the opportunity among others to collaborate in 2007 to the OECD “Economics of Prevention” Project. From 2011 to 2015 she collaborated with the Italian National Blood Centre mainly on projects concerning: (1) the definition of prices of blood components and of plasma-derived medicinal products obtained by national plasma, to be used for interregional financial reimbursement; (2) the definition of reimbursement rates to the Italian voluntary blood donors associations for the activities carried out within the Italian National Blood System. Since February 2017 she works in the Scientific secretariat of the President of the National Institute of Health providing scientific and technical support to the development and coordination of research activities undertaken by the Institute both at national and international level. Since May 2017 she joined the coordinating team of the Horizon 2020 funded project “TO-REACH” (Transfer of Organisational innovations for Resilient, Effective, equitable, Accessible, sustainable and Comprehnsive Health Services and Systems), a Coordination and Support Action started in December 2016 and coordinated by the National Institute of Health.
