Berta Ortiga Fontgivell
Berta Ortiga is a medical doctor, she is specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health and she holds a PhD in Medicine about Operations Management, performance and patient flow improvement. From the first moment, she had been combining her medical career with research and investigation activities. She extended her knowledge in management with the Master in Business Administration (MBA) at ESADE Business School. After that, she held various management positions in the hospital environment, being the last Deputy CEO of the University Hospital of Bellvitge in Barcelona. In April 2015 she joined Medtronic. She is currently working in Business Development for Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (MITG) Unit. She is responsible to manage the development of Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) for Iberia, France and Benelux and expand a portfolio of IHS services and solutions to bring knowledge and create a diverse network to the Group.
